Seems George knows something about what’s going on… Might even be something James and Rossi doesn’t know…
This weekend, I broadcast for 38 minutes on Ustream, a bit of me drawing! Coolest part was that there was a chat window available for anyone who wanted to talk with me while I drew. Cool, huh? I thought so.
I’ll be doing it again soon, I need to build some kind of armature to hold the camera, which may take a little while.
Keep an eye on the Twitter! I’ll be posting notifications there!
James looks ready to get down to business, doesn’t he?
For all you Warcraft fans out there, I watched Blizzcon over the internet, and was pleasantly entertained by the content that was provided. Of course, everyone’s now talking about all the great upgrades that WoW is looking at. I just wonder… when? It sure is a lot for them to do.
In other news, I got this handy dandy webcam thingamajigger for my birthday (YAY ME) and soon I get to do crazy things such as broadcast on Ustream… I just have to build something that I can hook the camera to while I draw. I’ll be trying to do that this weekend. I’m also seriously going to get back to making a few upgrades around here again.
Fun times!
See you Friday!
Webmonkey says: Don’t blame Aleric! It’s my fault, not his. I accidentally screwed up Wednesday’s and Friday’s updates just before leaving for Con. *blush*
The Los Gatos art festival went swimmingly… mostly. We did meet quite a few cool people and gave away a few comics. I think that I’ll be going to more art and wine festivals in the future. In other news, the Katgirl and I got accepted to Alternative Press Expo!! This is terribly exciting, because as you may remember, we didn’t get in last year. This year we will be there, so I need to focus now on sprucing up the website a little more and getting more cool things for you all to start collecting.
…always more work to do! See you Wednesday!
Aleric
Guest comic — Slug-life (2)
Did you catch yesterday’s Slug-Life guest comic? I thought it was a lot of fun, but this one was much better. I love the devil Windows-duckie.
Tomorrow, the Katgirl and I will be at the Los Gatos Fiesta de Artes, the Art festival in Los Gatos for the entire weekend. This will be our first time with a booth at an art and wine festival. If you can’t come by and visit, cross your fingers for us! We hope it’ll go well… Oh, and I’ll actually have a few copies of a new Exclusive event comic to give away…
Guest comic — Slug-life (1)
Dan Latta just started doing the 100 theme challenge, He’s writing them and posting them on his Deviantart account. Go and read his writing, it is sometimes surreal, somtimes biographical, and sometimes science fiction, but it is always fun. He’s one of my favorite undiscovered authors. I’m back home now, and man, I’m so beat. Fortunately, I’ve still got another few days of vacation left. I’m hoping to get as much of my special comic done, but I see now it’s going to take longer than I wanted to take on it. But making an attempt on the 24 hour comic was important, and I’ve learned a lot. I’ll be much better prepared for the official October day of the 24 hour comic
Guest comic — Imp Comic
Today’s incredibly funny guest comic comes from Elisa W’s Imp Comic. I ran into Elisa over at Wondercon this year, and she’s been posting her comic since 2004! Imp Comic is a cute story about how an Imp has to earn it’s tail. Go give it a read, then be sure to bookmark it!
In other news, I’m driving back home from LA today. I’ve got 2 more days off, then we’re going to be at the Los Gatos Fiesta de Artes. Since I was so beat after a full day of Disneyland yesterday, I wasn’t able to post any photos. Instead, you get to see some of the place I was staying at for the first part of the holiday:
Wish me good driving karma, and come back tomorrow for another guest comic!
