Ok, here it is: With the 2nd year Anniversary for HHFM coming, we’re going to do another Caption Contest – and we’re going to share it at Wondercon while we’re there! So exciting. The caption contest will start right around April 2… which is when Wondercon opens and, coincidentally, is the anniversary.
I planned it that way…

We’re back! At this point I’m about 2 weeks ahead! With Wondercon right around the corner, the Katgirl and I are crazy busy putting the final touches on our preparations.

First day of filler… I’m working hard to catch up and get my buffer up and running, also with Wondercon right around the corner, we’re getting all kinds of things ready for that event. I’ve got filler planned out for the regular update schedule all next week, so be sure to check in, and you’ll get a number of glimpses, hints and other coolness.

Hey folks! Just a quick note! Next week, HHFM is going on break, but there will be filler for the week. There’s a lot going on: I have to get my buffer back up, Wondercon is in a couple weeks, and the Anniversary of HHFM is the same weekend! And there will be another Caption Contest!!

I’m so excited about Wondercon that even the Buzzcomix voting website being down isn’t enough to bring me down. I’m still getting ducks lined up, but there will be new business cards and bookmarks and other great things to share with you all.
About Buzzcomix: I took the Top Web Comix voting system down because of the same issue that buzzcomix seems to be having. This idea that I’m providing them with free content and they’re providing me with a little exposure. I’m going to give Buzzcomix a little while longer, but if this continues, I’m just going to take it off the site entirely… which will of course, come with a bit of a rant as well.
Don’t worry though, I intend to continue airing the PDQs, voting incentive or not.
This weekend, I’m off to San Francisco to meet with a bunch of other Esty sellers. Who knows, maybe they’ll give me some good tips on how to drive more traffic to this little corner of the internet.
