James looks ready to get down to business, doesn’t he?
For all you Warcraft fans out there, I watched Blizzcon over the internet, and was pleasantly entertained by the content that was provided. Of course, everyone’s now talking about all the great upgrades that WoW is looking at. I just wonder… when? It sure is a lot for them to do.
In other news, I got this handy dandy webcam thingamajigger for my birthday (YAY ME) and soon I get to do crazy things such as broadcast on Ustream… I just have to build something that I can hook the camera to while I draw. I’ll be trying to do that this weekend. I’m also seriously going to get back to making a few upgrades around here again.
Fun times!
See you Friday!
The Los Gatos art festival went swimmingly… mostly. We did meet quite a few cool people and gave away a few comics. I think that I’ll be going to more art and wine festivals in the future. In other news, the Katgirl and I got accepted to Alternative Press Expo!! This is terribly exciting, because as you may remember, we didn’t get in last year. This year we will be there, so I need to focus now on sprucing up the website a little more and getting more cool things for you all to start collecting.
…always more work to do! See you Wednesday!
Aleric
I hope you all had a nice, safe 4th of July, even if it’s not a holiday for some of you. This weekend I went to the Alameda County fair with the Katgirl and I got to watch fireworks, look at all kinds of farm animals, saw a massive black widow spider… It was a great weekend. I’m going to try to get a flickr feed up and running so I can share more stuff with you all.
Tomorrow a new PDQ will be up, and then a regular HHFM on the next day! See you all then!
Happy Friday, everyone! I know, it’s the day before the 4th of July, but I’m not actually going to be doing anything extra for it… because I like my sanity.
I hope you all have a safe and happy Independence day. I know what I’ll be doing…
Drawing.
Cheers!
Did you know all this about World War II? I betcha didn’t…
I said I’d make a post about this week’s PDQ, and here it is.
I normally don’t make autobiographical comics, and I’m a little sorry to have thrown it out there without warning. In way of explanation, I didn’t do it to garner pity or anything like that. I did it because I was having a very difficult time finding the message I wanted to get across. The message is exactly as I wrote it: Be honest with yourself and others. Try to be kind to those you care about. There’s enough anger and pain in the world already. We don’t need to add to it.
A little something to think about for the weekend.
See you Monday!
Trying a new format (kinda). I wasn’t liking how the pages looked in the long form, so I decided turning the page 90 degrees might do the trick. What do you think? I kinda like it.
I also realized that I was not presenting the best writing I could do, so I’ve gone back over my written-but-not-drawn pages and hammered out a 2nd draft… amazing how much better it gets when I do that.
So, I hope the next couple of days will be more enjoyable than the last few.
As a final note, come back tomorrow, Thursday the 25th. I’ll be posting the latest PDQ. A special news post will follow on Friday. Yeah, this PDQ gets some special treatment.
‘Cause it’s special.
See y’all friday!
