Ok, sorry for the late update, and the lack of a newspost Friday and Monday. Ben the Webmonkey was off at Blizzcon 2008, and I had forgotten that he was heading out of town for it…. That, and some personal issues I’m dealing with.
Silly me.
As an apology for being late, I’ll give you all a special peek at what I’m up to!
These are small art cards, 2.5″x3.5″! There are 4 here. I’ll be making a few more and using them as promotional cards. There are 4 here, another 5 are planned. More details as they come available!

Well that dear friends, is the end of this year’s special Aleric’s Birthday event. Come Monday, it’ll be alright, and we’ll be going back to a 3/week schedule (with apologies to Mr. Buffett).
In case you all forgot, I’m reminding you that during this Labor Day Weekend, I’ll be at Con-x-treme handing out a NEW con-exclusive comic! Additionally, I will have Brand New Ultra-Shiny Hell Has Found Me Buttons for sale there! These nifty little guys are 1.25 inches across, with the fancy pin inside the button metal itself, so it won’t come popping out.
For those who can’t make it to Con-x-treme, don’t worry, I’ll be making these available on the website… soon(ish). In all honesty, I’m probably going to get a few more buttons made and then combine it as a button pack, to make the shipping worth your while.
In the mean time, remember to vote for us! New PDQ on Monday!!

More about Joe’s hat today, and ZOMG a double comic! Man, I have to tell you, this was fantastic fun to draw, and a challenge to get the composition right. Remember that this is a reference to the missing hat from Joe Loves Crappy Movies. If you haven’t stopped by JLCM yet, and you want to read some wonderful film reviews, you really, REALLY should. I’m not exaggerating when I say that his well written and considered reviews have actually convinced me to see (and enjoy) a few movies I wouldn’t normally have. On top of that, there are several other comics over there as well, all very nicely done.
Don’t forget to sign up for my Twitter feed and the Hell Has Found Me group that Johnny Frandsen set up over on Facebook! Of course, my latest Deviant Art images are there to the right or on my Deviant home page.

From the TMI file: in a game called Warhammer 40,000, technological know-how has devolved to a religion, where ‘tech-priests’ call on ‘machine spirits’ to ‘heal themselves’. Their machine-god is known as the Omnissiah, and they have to learn and follow ancient rites and prayers to revive and appease the machine spirits.
We call it cussing at the machine while we fix it.
Anyway, I’ve only gotten one poor, lonely single email about wanting desktop images… so unless I get more, it’ll be put on the backburner for a while so I can get other things finished. Either way, you all get more content, and I’m happy to do it.
As far as emails go, that one lonely email is sad all by himself. He needs friends to keep him company, (and to prevent me from singing to keep him company). So drop me a line! I’ll be sure to read it. Probably even respond to it! (gasp)
Someone asked me yesterday what voting for HHFM actually does, so I thought I’d tell you all as well. You know, in case you were wondering… or even if you weren’t… I would be ecstatic to make it to within the top 100 comics of TWC, because that puts a link for us on their front page. It’s a tool to get more readers, which encourages me to write more comics, so we can get more readers, so I write more… well you get the idea. I’m trying to turn a vicious cycle into a vortex of web-destruction that sucks everything into my comic, and thereby rule the world. So far, HHFM has made it all the way to the mid-450’s on Top Web Comics! So Clicky the Linky and add another vote!
