I think I’m more looking forward to the fact that it’s all finally over than the fact that there are no more to come.
Mad props to the cast for sticking with it all through these years, it’s a hell of an accomplishment. More so to the fact that the fans stuck with the films and the author. I guess that’s proof of a great series.
Anyway, more to do. I’ll catch you all later – and actually have seen the film by the time the next one comes around.
I got invited to Google+ yesterday – it’s an interesting bit of software.
It’s always fun learning new software, especially when they’re trying to do something “right”. I don’t know that I have the hang of it yet, but we’ll see how it goes.
If you’re interested, you should be able to find me under “Scott Aleric”
Hey! It’s Friday!
You know what else? I forgot to mention that I’ll be in Sacramento this weekend hanging out with Jeremy Rathbone for his Release the Zombots! event! I’ll be drawing Zombots and chatting with people. If you’re in the area, you should come by!
otherwise – looks like George is finally back home. You have to kind of wonder how he did it…
Thanks to everyone who were kind enough to vote or express their opinion on the Zombot Aquarius!
If you’re not sure what I’m on about, go check them out at either my Studio’s Page, my deviantArt, or my other webcomic.
For those whom I have not piqued the interest of enough:
James, back at watching Anime.
Old anime, new anime, heck, I’m sure James can keep up with it….
Oh yeah, here’s an awesome friend we met through Fanime. She does some beautiful work and is totally worth a look! Ethereel would certainly appreciate it.
Check her out at http://ethereel.deviantart.com/
TTY’all Soon!
It’s the Cake Fairy!
Some of you may remember her from the photo collection of Fanime – I know she was a cosplay from something else, but she shared some pretty awesome cake…
No lie.
So now it’s Friday and I’m still beat – I suppose it doesn’t help that I’ve been up until 1AM every day this week and up again around 5:45AM.
How do I keep going? It’s all the super-awesome fans that say hey, comment, and enjoy the comic. I know it sounds cheesy, but it’s absolutely true.
You can see some of them here:
In other news, the Katgirl has release her first book, Daemons in the Mist, a Young Adult novel set in San Francisco, full of love and intrigue, danger and excitement.
No really, it’s actually damn good.
The digital version is only $2.99 and can be read on Kindle, Nook, iPhones, iPads, Androids, and even your own computer. You should check it out, even if you aren’t a young adult.
In other news, Zombots is going strong and has a cool collection of sketches available for a mere $5. As soon as I figure out how to NOT break my website I’ll have it available to purchase. Or I might make it available through Etsy… Thoughts?
Anyway, I hope you all enjoy this media-tastic goodness. I try hard (and usually fail) at being up-to-date with all the new digital toys the kids are playing with these days… which reminds me, I need to post this on Reddit, Twitter and Facebook.
Take care!
Had such an amazing time at Fanime – I’m beat as hell… LOL
And I have work in the morning – you know, probably about when you’re reading this
I’ve still got some more comics inspired by Fanime – another in the “Fairy” series, as well as some pimpin’ of my peeps.
I’ll tell you all more soon. I promise. Now? time to collapse.
