Hey folks! Hope you all had a good weekend, I certainly did. A friend of mine got married, met a number of really cool people through there (Hi, Mimi!), great conversations (we have to to it again soon, Ryan!) and spent a raft of money on books – (all the Borders are closing). Picked up an awesome classic Warhound Titan (not that I expect you to know what that’s all about.
Anyway. Talk to you all again Wednesday!
I don’t have much time to make an elaborate post about this, but it needs mentioning…
Katgirl Studio’s debut book is available today!
This is important because I was one of the editors involved in bringing this book into existence, so if you’re into Young Adult fiction, urban fantasy, with a fair dose of romance thrown in, this book is for you. It’ll cost you less than a cup of coffee for the digital download.
More news later. Remember, Fanime is this weekend and I’ll be there drawin’ pictures and shakin’ hands, and takin’ pictures and holdin’ panels… it’s gonna be a blast.
I can honestly say I’ve never been sucked in by any anime, ever (that’s a total lie).
In fact, I think their stories to be generally predictable and childish (the lies keep coming!).
And am often bored to tears when they come on (yet, somehow, can’t turn away from some of them).
I usually just turn off the shows when they come on and watch a home shopping channel instead (yeah… right).
